An innovative firm in Lincoln, Nebraska, is seeking a talented software developer to enhance their web-based applications. This role involves contributing to the codebase, deploying features, and troubleshooting issues in a dynamic environment. Position located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Contribute to code base, challenging architecture, deploying new features, fixing issues, and deploying features to clients quickly. Thoroughly understand the architecture of Maptician applications and contribute to their enhancements. Assist in technical client meetings, suggesting paths to success, both live and via video conference. Troubleshoot and deploy changes to codes, as issues arise. Work through integration of application, from validation to execution. Ideate, with CTO, how platforms can be enhanced, including planning and execution. Remote employment available anywhere within the U.S.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or closely related field, with two years of experience in web-based software development, with experience in JavaScript, React, MongoDB, AWS, and SOL and developing RESTful APls using frontend Ajax calls for dynamic user interface interactions. Ability to configure and manage MongoDB infrastructure, in our MongoDB Atlas hosted server environment. Strong skills in Node.js, with a strong preference for experience with Express applications. Experience implementing CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) and other build tools, preferably in an AWS environment. Ability to configure and manage CRON jobs for scheduling and execution of automated tasks. Familiar with deploying AWS lambda functions using the API Gateway. Experience with frontend web frameworks such as React. Experience with AWS automated deployment and with agile/Kanban methodology-based environment, with the ability to adapt regularly, as priorities change.
