Hirewell is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and support software solutions within a manufacturing environment. This role will connect software development, data analytics, and industrial technology to improve processes, automate workflows, and drive operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to build practical solutions using Python, SQL, industrial software platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of software engineering or application development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, including automation, scripting, and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Familiarity with MES, SCADA, or industrial historian platforms; Ignition is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
• Exposure to machine learning concepts, including anomaly detection and predictive modeling.
• Understanding of manufacturing or industrial environments, including IT/OT systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Software Engineer | Manufacturing Systems

About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to develop and support software solutions within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on connecting software development, data analytics, and industrial technology to improve manufacturing processes, automate workflows, and drive operational efficiency.

You'll work closely with engineering, IT, and operations teams to build practical solutions using Python, SQL, industrial software platforms, and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications within MES and SCADA environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs, particularly Rockwell or Siemens.

• Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
