Job summary

Apex is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for a client-facing platform in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. You will design, build, and maintain full-stack applications, with backend Java services and frontend components across modern frameworks.

The role requires collaboration with product owners and on-call participation in a fast-paced Kanban environment. Ideally you have 3+ years of experience, strong Java and SQL skills, and familiarity with tools like Git and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in full-stack or backend development.
• Proficient in Java and SQL .
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework or library (Svelte, React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Experience with Git in a collaborative environment and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database, CockroachDB, Spring Boot, JBoss, JavaScript, Containers, Linux, Rancher, Ansible, and Bamboo preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Passion for learning, automation, and continual improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Purpose of Your Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join one of our product teams supporting a proprietary, client-facing system. This role plays a key part in designing, building, and maintaining the technology that provides value to our clients.

Partial onsite work will be required. For this reason, candidates should live in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.
