Innova Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a Full-Time Contract position in Fall River, MA. You will maintain, upgrade and support client systems, and contribute to design, development and deployment of mission-critical software using C#/C/C++ for Windows and Linux.

The ideal candidate has a CS-related degree with extensive experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record across the software life cycle.

Competenze

• 4+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.

• Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle.
• Strong understanding of various communications protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS232.
• Highly proficient in C# development.

• Strong ability to grasp and apply new information quickly.
• High attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and enthusiastic attitude.

Job Description

The candidate must be able to clearly communicate both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business‑like manner.

The developer will also be responsible for maintaining, supporting and upgrading existing client systems and applications.

The candidate will apply proven communication skills, problem‑solving skills and knowledge of best practices to work on issues related to the design, development and deployment of client oriented, mission‑critical information and software systems.

The candidate will be responsible for software requirement development, software test and integration, application and embedded code with C# and C/C++, Windows/Linux based development for autonomous maritime vehicles.

Strong interpersonal skills are required due to continual interaction with customers and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast‑paced work environment.

Ideal Candidate will have

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related engineering degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 12 years of prior related experience.
