Qualifications

• 9+ years in Software Engineering or 7 years with Master's degree or 13+ years with HS diploma
• Experience building Kubernetes deployments with helm/flux
• Strong Java development experience
• Experience designing enterprise APIs and RESTful services
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Experience with agile software lifecycle
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with configuration tools (Git, Nexus, Maven)
• Demonstrated tech leadership/mentoring/management

Job description

Software Engineer Columbia MD (Hybrid) Pay From: $150,000

MUST:

• Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred - Must be eligible to obtain US Government Security clearance.
• 9 years experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes deployments using tools like helm and flux.
• Strong Java software development experience.
• Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
• Experience in RESTful web services.
• Experience in Microservices architecture.
• Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
• Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting.
• Experience with the Linux operating system.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Demonstrated experience serving as a tech lead, mentor, or manager for engineering teams.
