Job summary

ITAC Solutions's client, a fast-growing express car wash network with 100+ locations, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and ship the proprietary software and custom controllers behind its operations. You will own a platform built to scale across sites and work directly with leadership to shape architecture.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of experience, strong Python back-end skills, and controller programming experience (NXT Wash).

• Strong Python back-end skills.
• Controller programming experience, ideally with NXT Wash.
• Eagerness to learn custom controller design and help build proprietary systems from the ground up.
• Comfort partnering with leadership on architecture and technology direction.
• Car wash industry experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and program proprietary wash controllers
• Integrate third-party software, services, and hardware into the stack
• Develop AI and machine learning features for the platform
• Shape architecture, tech selection, and roadmap with the Director
• Support network-wide releases and share an on-call rotation

This is an opportunity to take true ownership of a platform built to answer to no vendor, while partnering directly with leadership to shape the architecture and technology that fuels every new location.

Compensation

• Up to $95,000, depending on experience
