Job summary

Motion Recruitment in Durham, NC is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join a growing technology team on a cloud-based SaaS platform used by large industrial clients. This onsite role emphasizes hands-on development and collaboration with an energetic engineering group.

You will build and maintain full-stack applications, develop front-end features with React, and implement back-end services using Java and Spring Boot, while integrating REST APIs and database access.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience working in a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

We’re currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join a growing technology team in Durham, NC. This is a full-time, fully onsite opportunity working on a cloud-based SaaS platform that helps large industrial companies manage environmental liabilities and long-term financial obligations.

You’ll work as a full-stack engineer, building and improving both front-end and back-end applications. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on development, solving problems, and working with a collaborative engineering team.

Compensation

• $110,000–$140,000 base salary, depending on experience
