Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with up to 2+ years of related work.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL and JavaScript.
  • Web development experience with modern front-end frameworks (Vue/Angular/React).
  • Understanding of full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building apps using AWS-native, service-oriented architecture (RDS, Lambdas, IAM Roles, S3, EKS).
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Create, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity.
  • Support, maintain, and resolve issues in production systems.

Our Team

The Risk & Fraud team at Q2 is responsible for helping our customers take a proactive stance against fraud and managing the risks of their business. We build and enhance products that evolve with the ever-changing fraud landscape, delivering tangible value for our customers. Our solutions enable them to focus more of their time and energy on their mission : best serving their customers and communities.

The Role

In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design, implement, test, and operate cloud-native, data-driven services and applications across Q2's Fraud Intelligence Platform. This is a production-focused role where you will gradually take on more responsibility as you gain experience working with real-world systems and data.

  • Implement and unit test back-end components and front-end web pages.
  • Create, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity
  • Support, maintain, and resolve issues in production systems .
  • Ensure adherence to all security, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; up to 2+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript .
  • Web development experience and familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular, React).
  • Understanding of full software development life cycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience building applications using a n AWS -native, service-oriented architecture ( for example using RDS, Lambdas, IAM Roles, S3, EKS)
  • This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
