Job Overview

M&T Bank is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the replacement and modernization of its existing wire platform. The engineer will develop new applications and integrations while helping transition the platform from an on-premises/colocation environment to Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build integrations required for new releases and banking systems.
• Contribute to the replacement of the existing wire platform.
• Support migration from on-prem/colocation infrastructure to Azure.
• Develop high-quality, scalable production code.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver new functionality and releases.
• Work on modern AI/agentic technology initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications
