Job summary

SII Group is seeking a Software Engineer in Austin, TX to implement new features, define and automate testing strategies, and perform corrective maintenance within an Agile SDP-driven team.

You will write user stories, draft design documents, organise code reviews, enforce coding standards, prepare demos, and analyse defects. You’ll implement fixes with CI/CD (GitLab) and Terraform infrastructure while following AMS security standards like JWT/JWKS and Keycloak.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile development and testing strategies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
• Ability to draft design documents and user stories.

What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will implement new features, define and automate testing strategies, and perform corrective maintenance — all within an Agile team following the Software Development Plan (SDP).

Feature Development

• Contribute to writing user stories and drafting Design documents
• Organise code reviews with mandatory reviewers and enforce coding standards
• Provide support to team members working on the same feature
• Prepare and conduct demos as well as other Agile ceremonies
• Analyse defects identified during integration or system validation
• Implement fixes and verify that code changes do not degrade quality (continuous integration, SonarQube)
• Execute defect correction tests and provide supporting analysis for Non-Regression Tests
