Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to join our elite AI team. You’ve shipped production AI in regulated enterprises and led technical discovery with C-suite executives, turning complex problems into working solutions quickly.

You will architect end-to-end AI systems across AWS/Azure/GCP, build live demos and PoCs, and mentor junior engineers while contributing reusable accelerators and IP. You’ll co-sell with enterprise teams and defend architecture in boardrooms.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years shipping production AI/ML in real enterprises.
• Deep domain experience in healthcare, finance, telecom, or tech.
• Proven pre-sales, solutioning, and co-selling with enterprise teams.
• Strong Python and cloud deployment skills in production.

Responsibilities

We’re a boutique AI consulting firm working with Fortune 500 leaders in healthcare, finance, telecom, and tech to build and operationalize AI that moves the needle—no fluff, no theory, just real impact.

We’re looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our small, elite team. If you’ve shipped production AI in regulated enterprises, led technical discovery with C-suite executives, and built working systems in days—not months—this is your next move.

You’ll:

• Lead technical scoping and solutioning for multi-million-dollar AI deals
• Run executive workshops with CIOs, CTOs, and Chief Risk Officers
• Build live demos and PoCs in days—using LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, fine-tuning, and more
• Architect and deliver end-to-end AI systems in AWS/Azure/GCP, with integration into Snowflake, Databricks, ERPs, CRMs, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2)
• Write production Python, defend architecture decisions in boardrooms, and ship systems that stay safe and accurate after go-live
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to reusable accelerators and internal IP

You have:

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience shipping production AI/ML in real enterprise environments
• Deep domain experience in healthcare, finance, telecom, or tech
• Expertise in LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.), evals, and guardrails
• Production-grade Python, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and modern data platforms
• Proven success in pre-sales, solutioning, and co-selling with enterprise sales teams
• The ability to hold your ground in front of skeptical C-suite leaders
• Led AI programs from PoC to enterprise rollout
• Worked with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001)
• Optimized LLM cost and latency at scale
• Co-sold with AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenAI, or Anthropic field teams

Location:

U.S. remote. ~50% travel (typically Mon–Thu) to client sites. Atlanta or Dallas preferred but not required.

This is not a consulting role with junior analysts or slide decks. It’s a high-leverage, high-impact position for senior engineers who want to own the technical outcome—and the deal.
