Amazon MSK team is looking for a Software Development Manager to lead a high-performance group responsible for the managed streaming service built around Apache Kafka. You will shape architecture, delivery, and operations at AWS scale.

You will recruit, mentor, and grow engineers, own lifecycle metrics, and partner with product managers to define the roadmap, while contributing to open source and representing the team at community events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of experience within engineering teams.
• Experience leading multi-tier web services and large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and grow technical staff.
• Own the software development lifecycle and operational metrics for the service.
