Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead multiple teams building global consumer products with real-time cloud services. You will guide client-, server-, and full-stack engineers through architecture, design, code, and reviews, fostering autonomy and responsible AI practices.

You will partner with Product, Design, Data, and Security leaders to deliver high-quality experiences, while maintaining privacy, security, and reliability across distributed services.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multiple engineering teams.
• Ability to translate product objectives into technical plans.
• Experience delivering customer-facing software across client/server/full-stack.
• Experience with release lifecycles and telemetries.
• Experience operating production services with observability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, recruit, and retain engineers across client, server, and full-stack teams.
• Set clear goals, provide context, and grant teams autonomy.
• Stay technically engaged through architecture, design, code, and operational reviews.
