Job summary

Uline, a family-owned leader in shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, seeks a Software Development Manager to lead a 3–5 person development team and deliver scalable software solutions for North America. The role focuses on guiding architectural decisions and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to meet business goals.

Ideal candidates have a IT/CS degree and 2+ years of people management with hands-on programming in Java, Angular, or JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of people management experience with strong background in application projects and programming languages such as Java, Angular or JavaScript.
• Experience developing a team and managing full project lifecycles.
• Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 3 to 5 developers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure production of scalable, resilient software solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional Agile teams to align architecture and design decisions with business goals and product strategy.
• Support team members in designing and developing complex applications based on business requirements.
