Axos Clearing seeks a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead a team building the next generation of our Core Settlement System. You will drive architecture, security, performance, CI, and code quality while migrating to microservices on AWS.

The role is onsite at multiple US locations with no remote option, requiring strong leadership and banking/clearing domain experience. Competitive salary and annual bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of development; designing interactive web applications with Angular and/or React, developing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs.
• 10+ years of managing or leading technical resources.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
• Proficiency with .NET framework, C#, Java, JavaScript, MVC, Angular 10, TypeScript, jQuery, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Swagger Docs.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Define and build functional and non‑functional requirements across the enterprise portfolio.
• Lead one or more development teams of near‑shore or local developers.
• Design and prototype enterprise‑wide solutions focused on security, performance, CI, and tests.
• Communicate with leads and teams; drive continuous improvement of development capabilities.
• Refactor codebase for just‑in‑time design within contextual design.
• Ensure alignment of development plans with company goals and budgets.
• Oversee infrastructure and resource support for development groups.
• Coordinate with marketing and development for product introductions and launches.
