Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead an engineering team for Amazon MSK, a fully managed service built on Kafka to help customers process streaming data at scale. The role emphasizes data streaming passion and open source collaboration.

You will build a High-Performing & Inclusive team, shape roadmaps with OSS partners, and guide architecture of multi-tier services. Seattle-based with some remote flexibility, reporting to the AWS MSK leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Knowledge of the full software development life cycle, including code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and live-site operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
