Job summary

Uline, a family-owned North American leader, seeks a Software Development Manager to lead a 3–5 person engineering team and deliver scalable software for our operations.

Based at Uline's Pleasant Prairie campus, you will partner with Agile teams, guide architecture decisions, and ensure projects meet business goals.

Candidates have a Bachelor's in IT/CS and 2+ years of people management with Java, Angular, or JavaScript, and a proven full lifecycle track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of people management with application project experience and programming in Java, Angular or JavaScript.
• Experience leading full software lifecycles and managing teams.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.

Pay from $121,000 to $160,000 per year

Are you an IT leader passionate about developing a team and delivering results? As a Software Development Manager, you will use your expertise to lead a high-performing team and design innovative software solutions that support our growing North American company.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 3 to 5 developers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure production of scalable, resilient software solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional Agile teams to align architecture and design decisions with business goals and product strategy.
• Support team members in designing and developing complex applications based on business requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of people management experience with a strong background application project experience programming languages such as Java, Angular or JavaScript.
• Experience developing a team and managing full project lifecycles.
• Uline does not participate in the H-1B lottery.
