Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Software Development Intern for Summer 2027 at the Cleveland Headquarters Office, hybrid role in Highland Heights, OH. You will contribute to the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of network analytics software and internal tools.

The internship focuses on learning the full SDLC, translating requirements into specifications, documenting solutions, and delivering code with peer review. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Acquire understanding of the software development life cycle and processes.
• Collaborate with Development Manager and Product Management to define feature requirements.
• Work with Software Architects to propose and document solutions and feasibility.
• Produce technical design documentation and ensure peer review.
• Implement software components as per design and schedule.
• Create automated tests and unit tests; collaborate on test plans with QA.
• Assist in functional, integration and system testing and bug resolution.
