Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Software Development Engineer in Test (QA SDET) to join our dynamic team. The QA SDET will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests, ensuring the quality of our software products, and working closely with the development team to identify and fix defects.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Evangelism: Promote and implement AI tool usage throughout all appropriate aspects of the position.
- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Manual Testing: Perform manual testing where necessary, including exploratory, regression, and functional testing.
- Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies and plans accordingly.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the software meets performance benchmarks.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality checks.
- Mentoring and Training: Provide guidance and training to junior QA engineers and developers on best practices for test automation and quality assurance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Technical Skills:
- Experience in Linux
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Playwright, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
