Job summary

Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) in Bellevue is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to design, build, and operate cloud-based services across the stack. You will create React interfaces for operators and planners, while implementing backend components with event-driven patterns in AWS.

You’ll connect AMS to ERP, PLM, and MES systems and collaborate on architecture decisions. The role requires strong full-stack development experience, SDLC know-how, and ML/LLM fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design/architecture experience of systems.
• 2+ years of full stack development experience.
• 2+ years of production software experience.
• Experience with full SDLC processes and operations.
• Knowledge of ML and LLM fundamentals, including transformer lifecycles.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AWS-based services with Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Develop React web applications for operators and planners.
• Integrate AMS services with ERP/PLM/MES platforms via event-based and API patterns.
• Design API models, CDK infra, and CI/CD pipelines for new services.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on system design and reviews.
