Amazon in the United States is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the Delivery Experience (DEX) team. You will design, manage and own core technologies in delivery programs, influencing product features, system architecture and best practices in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional software development, strong design skills and experience with web services. A Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent is preferred.

This person has strong design and implementation experience and a strong knowledge of web services and protocols.

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will design, manage and own technologies in Delivery programs space and. you will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define new product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
