Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for the NLM Connectivity Services team in Seattle. You will own substantial parts of complex, large-scale problems impacting Amazon's infrastructure and develop automation for data-center fiber design and material planning.

You will work with cross-functional teams, shape technical solutions, and drive outcomes across the cabling lifecycle while maintaining a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of systems.
• 1+ years of multi-threaded or distributed software experience.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.

Responsibilities

• Own substantial parts of large-scale problems with real impact on infrastructure.
• Develop data center digital twin automation for fiber infrastructure design.
• Define direction, shape technical solutions, and drive outcomes across cabling lifecycle.
• Collaborate across teams and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
