Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the QuickSuite Generative AI initiative. You will translate business requirements into concrete deliverables, build prototypes, and develop scalable distributed services using Java, Python and AWS.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Applied Scientists. The role requires 3+ years of non-internship software development experience, a CS degree, and hands-on design or architecture experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Solve technical challenges and mentor junior engineers.
• Translate business/functional requirements into concrete deliverables and prototypes.
• Design, develop and deploy highly scalable distributed services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Applied Scientists.
