Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a senior software and AI research leader to guide the Quick Science team.

You will drive generative AI and agentic AI initiatives, design scalable architectures, and mentor engineers across disciplines to deliver production-ready systems for enterprise users. You will partner with research and product teams to translate scientific insights into actionable technologies, balancing speed and reliability while raising the bar for performance and security in

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one programming language
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

Define, design and lead the development of tools that accelerate science experimentation and delivery process
Design and guide the science team's implementation, enabling SCIP proof of concepts that help decide strategy
Tool development: build and improve toolings for scientists including scalable experiment frameworks and testing pipelines
Expedite science to production: bridge the gap between science and engineering pipelines
