Amazon is seeking Software Development Engineers to design, implement, and scale large distributed systems that power customer experiences globally. You will collaborate across teams to build innovative products, using cutting-edge technologies at scale in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong programming skills across C++, Java, or similar languages, with 3+ years of professional experience and a BS in CS/Engineering/Math.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
