Description

Apple Inc. seeks a Software Development Engineer to build secure software services, conduct security architecture reviews, and contribute to security strategies for Apple Media Products and other software stacks, including cloud and emerging technologies. Responsibilities include defining security programs, partnering with engineering teams, securing infrastructure on public clouds, analyzing system designs, suggesting improvements, and guiding development teams on security best practices. The role involves assessing vulnerabilities, implementing security patches, and ensuring compliance. The position requires 40 hours/week.

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $166,600 to $250,600 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience with:
• Software development and coding, including OAuth, SAML, JWT, mTLS.
• Securing software infrastructure in public cloud environments.
• Java development for application enhancements, bug fixes, troubleshooting, and releases.
• Using REST APIs for software integration.
• Managing data with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Unix/Linux systems and cloud technologies like Docker.
• Agile software development practices.
