Description

Apple Inc. has the following opportunity in Seattle, Washington. Candidates should communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include architecting and implementing highly available and distributed services, and experience with scalable distributed persistent caches or stores such as Cassandra, Voldemort, Memcached, and Redis. The role involves deploying large-scale datacenter applications, monitoring, capacity planning, and understanding cloud technologies like Docker, S3, and other cloud functions. The goal is to innovate and improve the efficiency of Apple Media Products’ services.

This role is full-time (40 hours/week). Base pay ranges from $166,600 to $250,600 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation includes opportunities for stock programs, benefits like medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursement. Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field, with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with each of the following: distributed system design, assessment and troubleshooting, design patterns, Java, JVM, Rust, C, or C++ data analysis.
