Job summary

Amazon in Seattle, WA is hiring for a software development role focused on personalization and upsell features for Amazon Devices. You will own features from design to deployment and provide operational support at scale.

You will collaborate with product, UX, and data science to turn customer problems into measurable experiments, while raising engineering standards through reviews and mentorship. This is a full‑time on‑site role in Seattle.

A day in the life

About The Team

Our team is focused on helping customers discover and purchase the most relevant items that go with their devices, including physical accessories, companion devices, warranties, and digital subscriptions.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
