Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the EBS Server Agility team in Boston to design and build core CI components across hardware architectures, enabling millions of AWS customers. Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for complex systems.
• 1+ years of SDE or related occupation.
• Experience in large-scale distributed software with multi-threading.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Mathematics or related field.
• Experience programming with at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build CI systems for multi-architecture code changes.
• Improve distributed test orchestration running thousands of test suites daily.
• Support shift-left testing and quality frameworks.
• Design intelligent test selection and qualification systems using AI/ML.
• Build secure automated CI operations with reliability and observability.
• Develop memory safety and performance profiling for large scale.
• Contribute to AI-native CI tooling like test generation and failure analysis.
• Optimize CI infrastructure costs while maintaining quality.
• Participate in design and code reviews and CI reliability practices.
