Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Software Development Engineer 3 to collaborate on embedded software ecosystems in San Jose. The role involves porting RTOS and hypervisor software to x86 and ARM platforms, and delivering reference designs to ecosystem partners.

You will build firmware, prepare boot artifacts, and share design sources for Linux and Bare Metal deployments. The candidate should understand FPGA IPs, graphics and audio drivers, and have hands-on experience with RTOS and system-level

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded software and porting to silicon platforms.
• Ability to explain system complexities of TRD to partners.
• Familiarity with FP‑GA IPs and low level graphics/audio drivers.

Responsibilities

• Build and run Targeted Reference Designs on Linux and Bare Metal and demonstrate to ecosystem partners.
• Use Vivado and Vitis AI to create firmware for a TRD and provide boot artifacts, design sources, and build scripts.
• Explain TRD architecture and porting requirements to ecosystem partners and answer questions.

Software Development Engineer 3

Location: San Jose CA

Duration: 12 Months

Description: JOB DUTIES:

• Working with various Embedded Software Ecosystem partners to assist their development and porting of Real-Time Operating Systems and Hypervisors to silicon including both -x86 (Ryzen & Epyc) and ARM based ASoC s (ARM Cortex A78, R52).
• A successful candidate will be able to build and run Targeted Reference Designs on both Linux and Bare Metal and then demonstrate those designs to Ecosystem Partners.
• This will include running Tools such as Vivado and Vitis AI to build firmware for a TRD, providing the necessary boot artifacts to partners along with example design sources and build scripts for Linux and Bare Metal.
• The ability to explain the system complexities of a given TRD to ecosystem partners and answer their porting questions is a must.
• Knowledge of FPGA s, various IP s such as the VCU and ISP, low level drivers for graphics (G78) and audio and some experience with real-time operating systems is required.
