Responsible for designing, building, and running a diverse set of services that ingest, transform, and manage all media content across products like the App Store, Apple Music and, Apple TV+. Analyze requirements and migrate legacy workloads to containerized solutions. Automate continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines. Work on champion modern reliability engineering practices such as data-driven analysis, reproducibility and continuous delivery. Mentor other software engineers. Design and implement distributed software systems. Develop and deploy reliable, large-scale, services across multiple technology stacks. Generate reports regarding service metrics on performance, availability, and reliability. Identify opportunities to automate workflows accompanied by development of software tools that reduce labor costs and improve engineering efficiency. Implement observability of system for monitoring, alerting, and metrics reporting. Investigate production software reliability incidents and conduct root-cause analysis and implementation of remediations to improve customer experience. Provide feedback and insights of metrics and data analysis to engineering teams.
