Software Developer needed to develop adaptable web-based solutions for manufacturing applications using MES Software and/or Ignition software platform.

Your role

• Develop adaptable web-based solutions for manufacturing applications in conjunction with MES Systems and/or Ignition software platform. Applications will integrate with a variety of data sources, such as SQL DB, OPC, Canary, SAP, Data Warehouse, SharePoint, etc.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including engineering, operations, IT, and business stakeholders, to define requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Create documentation for OT solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to other teams, including IT, engineering, and operations.

Your skills and experience

• Must have experience working in an ITAR environment. U.S. Citizens only.
• Proficiency with external data sources, such as SQL, REST API, BAPI, etc.
• Ability to think beyond typical OOTB software limitations.
• Experience delivering scalable, modular solutions with robust error handling, optimized for real-time performance, and maintainable across diverse devices and environments.
• Strong skills in Python and low-code platforms like Ignition or Mendix are preferred.
• Experience working with MES, SCADA, HMI systems.
• Proven expertise in OT systems and architecture, with a preference for Ignition, Canary, Kepware, Rockwell, and at least 5 years of field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence teams at all levels.
