Qualifications

• US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• 1+ year of software development experience.
• Experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience developing unit tests with NUnit or xUnit.
• Relational database design/development with SQL Server.
• Experience developing web-based apps with HTML/CSS.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience on an Agile team (Scrum/XP/Kanban).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and troubleshooting ability.
• Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Software Developer (Secret Cleared) – Stafford, VA

Position is contingent upon additional funding.

This role supports a program that provides application design, development, enhancement, and implementation support to mission‑critical law‑enforcement applications. The applications manage large data sets and indexes and support data analysis, electronic exchange, and investigative collaboration.

Primary Functions

• Design and develop testable code using C#, HTML, Blazor, and Entity Framework.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Actively participate in Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations.

Required Skills

• US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
• 1+ year(s) of software development experience, preferably with C# and .NET.
• Experience developing unit tests with NUnit, xUnit, or similar frameworks.
• Relational database design and development experience, preferably using SQL Server.
• Experience developing web‑based applications with HTML and CSS.
• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience working on an Agile team using Scrum, XP, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail, critical‑thinking, and troubleshooting ability.

Desired Skills

• Experience with component‑based frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or React.

Compensation

Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000.
