Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering seeks a Software Developer in Niskayuna, NY to design, develop, test, verify, and maintain software for the Core Analysis Process System on high performance computing platforms. A DOE L clearance (or DOD equivalent) is required to be considered for this position.

The role involves collaborating with engineers from multiple projects to deliver robust, user-friendly scientific software, using languages such as Java, C/C++, Fortran and Python, with potential porting

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or science from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C, C++ or Fortran and Python.
• A DOE L Clearance (or DOD equivalent) is required to be considered for this position.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
