Job description

Join our Integrated Manufacturing Systems (IMS) team as we launch a greenfield initiative to build a cutting-edge Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for fiber ribbon cable production. This is a rare opportunity to shape a modern MES from the ground up using the latest technologies and cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Work On

You'll be instrumental in designing and developing a robust MES platform using:

Tech Stack: .NET 8, Razor Pages, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, C#, MS SQL Server

Development & Configuration

Build responsive, mobile-first interfaces using Razor Pages and Bootstrap
Configure environment variables and folder structures for Azure and local setups
Design backend SQL tables for efficient data storage and reporting
Integrate with REST APIs to support manufacturing workflows
Manage Azure App Services settings and deployment slots
Handle secure credential storage and access via Azure Key Vault

Testing & Troubleshooting

Validate SQL Server and printer connectivity across environments
Resolve DNS/firewall issues and implement robust error handling
Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality
Maintain internal documentation for environment-specific configurations
Work cross-functionally with IT, cloud architecture, process engineering, and operations teams to gather requirements and support deployment
