AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer Intern for Summer 2027 in Denver, CO. You will collaborate with project teams to design and build web-based solutions using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server, while supporting the full SDLC.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to client projects, data analysis, and documentation. This internship emphasizes learning, growth, and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in a technical field; no experience required.
• Must have completed 60 hours toward a CS bachelor’s or be enrolled in a Master’s in Information Systems by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams and clients to design and develop web-based solutions.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Denver, CO office.

Your Role

• Collaborate with project teams and clients to design and develop web-based solutions.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
• Develop, test, and maintain .NET web applications and API integrations.
• Assist with requirements analysis, product planning, and solution design.
• Compile and analyze data, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Monitor application performance and provide troubleshooting and operational support.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Work closely with team members while continuously learning new technologies and development practices.

About You

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science or be enrolled in a master’s program in Information Systems from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

SPECIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and SQL Server
• Ability to integrate and consume LLM/AI APIs using REST and JSON
• Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Razor (preferred)

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
