AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO is seeking a Software Developer Intern for Summer 2027 to join our office. You will design and develop web-based solutions, work with project teams and clients, and support the full software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

You will develop and maintain .NET web applications and API integrations, assist with requirements analysis, compile data for stakeholders, monitor performance, and create technical and user documentation while learning new technologies

Qualifications

• 60 hours toward a bachelor's degree in computer science or enrollment in a master's program by Summer 2027.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and SQL Server.
• Ability to integrate and consume LLM/AI APIs using REST and JSON.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Software Developer Intern - Summer 2027 to join our Denver, CO office.

Your Role

• Collaborate with project teams and clients to design and develop web-based solutions.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and maintenance.
• Develop, test, and maintain .NET web applications and API integrations.
• Assist with requirements analysis, product planning, and solution design.
• Compile and analyze data, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Monitor application performance and provide troubleshooting and operational support.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Work closely with team members while continuously learning new technologies and development practices.

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into a bachelor's or master's degree program in a related technical field.

EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a bachelor's degree in computer science or be enrolled in a master's program in Information Systems from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

• SPECIAL SKILLS: Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and SQL Server
• Ability to integrate and consume LLM/AI APIs using REST and JSON
• Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Razor (preferred)

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
