Qualifications

• Two years of DevSecOps experience with automated security testing tools (SAST/DAST/SCA) in regulated environments
• Two years of experience coding, integrating, and maintaining resilient DDIL architectures for Navy/afoot PaaS environments

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

• Supporting software development requirements within the project team
• Understanding software requirements based on customer defined business needs
• Installing and maintaining software and system components
• Developing and maintaining software
• Implementing and maintaining software version control
• Implementing and maintaining software build processes
• Developing and maintaining automated testsSupporting acceptance testing of software deliverables
• Recommending improvements to software components and system architecture
• Providing inputs for documentation of new or existing programs
• Providing technical support, and administration of the software infrastructure
• Performing systems modeling, simulation and analysis

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in software development utilizing Agile frameworks (such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) to design, develop, and deliver software capabilities to production environments
• Experience must include coding in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++), implementing modern architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, or Serverless), utilizing Git-based version control workflows (e.g., GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development), and participating in the end-to-end delivery pipeline from software design and development through automated testing to production deployment on Kubernetes, cloud, or virtualized environments
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience applying DevSecOps principles, including configuring automated security testing tools (such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanners) as quality gates within a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline in a highly regulated government or DoD mandated environment (e.g., Overmatch Software Armory (OSA), Platform One, or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience coding, integrating, and maintaining resilient software architectures designed for DDIL environments, afloat/ashore PaaS environments e.g., Navy
