Iowa State University’s Center for Survey Statistics and Methodology is seeking a Software Developer II to build software for the NRI survey and other CSSM clients. The role involves software development with statistical methods, database programming, and web app development in a collaborative environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of related experience and be able to work remotely while residing in Iowa. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of related experience required.
• Experience with software development and web technologies including front-end skills.

Responsabilidades

• Programming in C/C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Web development using JavaScript with HTML, CSS, React, Redux, jQuery, and JSON.
• Experience with database systems such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLite, or Berkeley DB.
• Experience in survey science or survey development.
• Familiarity with NRCS/NRI survey processes.
