Job summary

NEW MEXICO MUTUAL is seeking a Software Developer II in Albuquerque, NM to develop, maintain, and support complex software applications and system integrations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
Six or more years of software development experience, preferably in insurance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.
Experience with Guidewire, enterprise integrations, or similar platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and support Guidewire applications, enterprise integrations, and internal software solutions.
Lead or contribute to design discussions focusing on maintainability, performance, and long-term support.
Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, vendors, and IT colleagues to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Document architectural decisions, code changes, and deployment procedures for future maintenance.
Participate in testing, releases, and production support activities as needed.
