Job summary

LCRA in Austin, TX is seeking a software developer to design, build, and support complex enterprise applications. You will translate user requirements, design databases, and develop applications from the ground up while patching servers and applying OS and app updates to remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and QA teams; manage SQL Server databases with stored procedures and replication; and build GIS-enabled solutions using ESRI ArcGIS tools.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of software development experience.
• Degree may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for relevant years.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications on the .NET platform.
• Evaluate, implement, and upgrade COTS solutions to meet requirements.
• Refactor or rewrite existing software to support evolving needs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and QA teams.
• Develop and manage SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, triggers, data transformations, and replication.
• Build solutions using approved enterprise AI-powered development tools and code repositories.
