Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and support full-stack applications for manufacturing and industrial technology environments. You will work on Ignition-based projects, build scalable web apps, and design integrations with MES/ERP systems.

This remote contract role in Carrollton, TX offers exposure to cloud, containers, CI/CD, and modern frontend frameworks like React, with collaboration across client teams and engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Must have development experience with Ignition.
• Experience with Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Strong full-stack development experience, including front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong MES experience.
• Experience with React or similar modern web frameworks.
• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD practices, and modern deployment processes.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

I'm currently hiring for a Software Engineer that has development experience in Ignition

• Experience deploying applications in Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carrollton, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $87.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
