STCU is seeking a Software Developer I to design, document, develop, and support custom software solutions. You will work with an Agile/SCRUM team and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure our software meets member needs. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in CS and at least one year of development experience.
Office-based role with commuting distance to STCU headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA; ongoing learning and contribution to security, deployment, and maintenance are valued.

The Software Developer I is responsible for designing, documenting, developing and supporting custom software solutions for STCU using modern programing languages with moderate supervision. This position will work as an effective member of an Agile/SCRUM team and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure our custom software solutions meet the needs of the credit union.

Other Essential Functions
Education:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Job Experience:Minimum one year of experience in a software development position preferred.
Physical Demands:Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 10 pounds with accommodations.
Work Conditions:Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Must live within daily commuting distance of STCU headquarters located in Liberty Lake, Washington.
Other:Perform additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department and the organization. This includes the possibility of being assigned temporarily to other locations.
