TRISTAR in Bloomington, IN seeks a Software Developer I to support Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations software for the Azurite Program. You will design, implement, test, and maintain mission software primarily using C++ and Python.

Responsibilities include software integration, debugging, verification, and production hardening, plus participation in architecture reviews and Agile planning. Some travel is expected; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to develop and maintain software using C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and debugging in Linux/Windows environments.
• Ability to integrate software across subsystems and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Must be U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance and CompTIA Sec+.

Description

TRISTAR is seeking a local highly motivated Software Developer I to support the software development and system administration of the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations (EW ICO) in support of the Azurite Program.

Design, implement, test, and maintain mission software.

Develop software primarily in C++ and Python.

Support software integration, debugging, verification, and production hardening activities.

Participate in software architecture discussions, implementation planning, and technical design reviews.

Submit software changes through the established version control and merge request process.

Participate in daily task planning and Agile software development activities.

Collaborate with Systems, DSP, and RF engineers to develop integrated mission capabilities.

Requirements

• Ability to develop and maintain software using C++, Python and/or JavaScript.
• Ability to work within a Git-based software development workflow.
• Ability to develop and debug software in Linux and Windows development environments.
• Ability to integrate software across multiple subsystems.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
• field (or equivalent experience).
• Must already have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance.
• Travel appx 15% of the time.
