Job Duties

Interact with Business analysts, Business Users and identify business use case requirements related to Big Data, Cloud (Amazon Web Services like S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis). Automate and helps define solutions for Big Data, Cloud with the use of technologies like Hadoop, YARN, Hive, Pig, Spark, Storm, HBase, Sqoop, Kerberos, Sentry, python, Athena, Snowflake, EMR, Redshift, Athena, and tableau. Use understanding of Spark and Distributed Computing frameworks and languages such as Scala, Java, Python, and help efficiently design the Data analytics models and ETL pipelines based on user requirements. Build, Design and support Hadoop and Big Data applications and keep abreast with latest big data technologies. Work under supervision. Travel And/or Relocation to Unanticipated Client Sites throughout USA is required.

Education Required

Master’s degree in Computers/ IT/Engineering (any)/Business or related field with Six (6) months of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer/Developer/Programmer/IT Consultant or closely related field. Employer also accepts Bachelor’s degree in Computers/ IT/Engineering (any)/Business or related field plus five years of progressive work experience in related field.

Experience Required

Experience should include Six (6) months of working with either HADOOP or BIG DATA APPLICATIONS. Travel and/or relocation is required to unanticipated client sites within USA. International travel is not required. The frequency of travel is currently not known as it depends on the client and project requirement that cannot be currently anticipated. Employer provides Information technology services to various clients in USA and hence implementing projects will require such travel.
