Job summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of IT experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Responsibilities include optimizing Hadoop ETL jobs and executing major projects. Job Description

• 1. Perfect BD & Hadoop concepts
• 2. Good command on Unix
• 3. Should have a Java Background of at least 2 to 3 years
• 4. Should be good in Java Map Reduce
• 5. Should have idea of Big Data tools Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie
• 6. Should be aware of at least one reporting tool using BD – like Tableau, Platfora etc…
• 7. Should have knowledge and exposure to NoSQL databases (either Cassandra or MongoDB)
• 8. Should have experience in optimizing Hadoop ETL jobs
• 9. Should have executed major projects covering above technologies
• 10. Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of IT experience.
