Job summary

BOOST LLC is seeking a Software Developer to support the Comprehensive Servicing and Monitoring System, HUD accounting and servicing application. The role requires cross-stack knowledge, resolving defects, implementing enhancements, and supporting releases with product ownership, QA, database, and security teams.

The position is hybrid/remote-friendly with some on-site expectations in Silver Spring, MD, and requires U.S. citizenship due to federal contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile or collaborative development environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database-backed workflows.
• Develop, consume, and support REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement stable defect resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and releases.
• Support testing, data validation, and post-deployment verification.
• Assist with build, deployment, and configuration management tasks.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
