Silencer Central in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, test, and support customer-facing ecommerce experiences within a headless commerce architecture. This role collaborates with product owners, designers, and other developers to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions across UI, backend, and integrations.

The position focuses on React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and SQL.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years of professional software development in full stack or ecommerce environments.
• Hands‑on React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with PHP and Node.js for backend development.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Git, CI/CD, and test-driven development experience.
• Magento/Adobe Commerce and Contentful/ERP integrations preferred.

The Full Stack Developer designs, builds, tests, and supports customer-facing ecommerce experiences and the services and integrations that power them. This role works closely with product owners, designers, business stakeholders, and other developers to translate business needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. The Full Stack Developer contributes across the presentation, application, integration, and data layers of the ecommerce platform. The position develops responsive user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and system integrations; troubleshoots production issues; participates in code reviews and testing; and continuously improves application performance, reliability, security, and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Full Stack Development

• Develop responsive, accessible, and reusable ecommerce user interfaces using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build and maintain backend functionality, services, and customizations using PHP and Node.js within a modern headless commerce architecture.
• Design, consume, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs that connect the storefront with commerce, content, payment, ERP, and other business platforms.
• Develop data access logic and write efficient SQL queries for transactional and reporting needs.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews, source control, and continuous integration practices.

Application Support & Troubleshooting

• Monitor and support ecommerce applications and integrations across development, test, and production environments.
• Diagnose and resolve defects, performance issues, failed integrations, and customer-impacting incidents.
• Use logs, monitoring tools, browser developer tools, and structured debugging techniques to identify root causes.
• Partner with internal support teams and vendors to resolve complex platform or integration issues.
• Document solutions, technical decisions, support procedures, and recurring issues.

Delivery & Integration

• Translate product requirements, user stories, designs, and acceptance criteria into working software.
• Implement and support integrations with ecommerce, content management, ERP, payment, analytics, and third-party services.
• Create unit and integration tests, assist with quality assurance, and validate functionality before release.
• Support deployments, release validation, configuration changes, and rollback planning in collaboration with the broader technology team.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve site performance, conversion, accessibility, reliability, security, and developer productivity.
• Contribute to coding standards, reusable components, automated testing, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Stay current on React, headless commerce, API design, cloud services, application security, and ecommerce development trends.
• Share knowledge through documentation, code reviews, pairing, and team collaboration.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years of professional software development experience in a full stack, web application, or ecommerce environment.
• Required hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for modern frontend development.
• Required experience with PHP and Node.js for backend development, platform customization, services, or integration workloads.
• Required experience with SQL and relational databases, including data modeling, queries, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing and integrating REST and GraphQL APIs and working with JSON‑based data exchanges.
• Experience using Git‑based source control, automated testing, code review, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Magento or Adobe Commerce, a headless content management platform such as Contentful, and integrations with ERP, preferably NetSuite, or payment platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud‑hosted applications, application monitoring, security practices, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical partners.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: $85,000-$100,000. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
