Silencer Central in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, customize, implement, and maintain NetSuite-based solutions across ecommerce and enterprise environments. The role emphasizes API integrations, EDI workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead end-to-end development, mentor junior developers, and stay current with NetSuite releases while driving secure, scalable integrations with 3PL providers and ecommerce platforms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a preference for hands-on NetSuite development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript; knowledge of SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 is highly desirable.
• Experience with Git-based repositories and version-control platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
• Familiarity with NetSuite modules such as SuiteCommerce, SuiteCloud IDE, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics.
• Experience designing, developing, securing, and troubleshooting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, and related integration tools.
• Experience with EDI integrations and transaction workflows, including X12 documents.
• Experience with modern ecommerce platforms and 3PL integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop scalable software solutions with focus on NetSuite customization, integrations, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Utilize NetSuite SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder to architect, customize, and optimize NetSuite applications.
• Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between NetSuite, ecommerce platforms, EDI partners, 3PL providers, and other systems using APIs and middleware.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers.
• Use code repositories and version-control workflows to manage source code, perform peer reviews, support branching and release processes, and maintain code integrity through testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated with the latest NetSuite releases, features, and best practices, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, system design, and technology evaluations to drive innovation and efficiency.

Job Summary:

This role requires expertise in software development, APIs, system integrations, and EDI; strong problem-solving abilities; and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience with NetSuite is preferred, and experience integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is a plus.

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop scalable and high-quality software solutions, with a focus on NetSuite customization, integrations, and enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize NetSuite SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder to architect, customize, and optimize NetSuite applications.
• Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between NetSuite, modern ecommerce platforms, EDI trading partners, 3PL providers, and other business systems using APIs, web services, middleware, and event-driven integration patterns.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a preference for hands-on experience in NetSuite development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, and strong experience with scripting languages. Knowledge of SuiteScript (2.0/2.1) is highly desirable.
• Experience using Git-based code repositories and version-control platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
• Familiarity with NetSuite modules such as SuiteCommerce, SuiteCloud IDE, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics.
• Experience designing, developing, securing, and troubleshooting integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, middleware, and related integration tools.
• Experience with EDI integrations and transaction workflows, including common standards and documents such as X12, purchase orders, acknowledgments, advance ship notices, invoices, and inventory updates.
• Experience with modern ecommerce platforms and architecture, including headless or composable commerce, storefront integrations, order management, payment, fulfillment, and customer data flows.
• Experience integrating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, warehouse management systems, and fulfillment partners is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in an agile environment, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $105,000-$130,000. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
