Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an experienced Software Solutions professional to support a large-scale ERP system with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne expertise. The role requires translating business needs into effective software solutions and collaborating with internal IT teams and external consultants.

Candidates should have a technical degree and 5+ years of ERP experience, including reporting and database skills (SQL/DB2). Office tools proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations of a large ERP system.
• Meet with internal customers, IT teams and external partners to ensure requirements are met.
• Manage large projects with external consultants to adhere to timeframes.
• Develop software to create business solutions and collaborate with the software team.
• Plan, prioritize and execute assignments following business analyst specifications.
• Develop reports using large-scale reporting systems and deliver training/documentation.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Technical Discipline Preferred
• 5+ years of experience providing Software Development solutions for Large-Scale ERP Systems; Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. desired

• Proven ability to diagnose ERP issues and provide guidance on resolution
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of IBM DB2 and Standard Query Language (SQL)

Job Duties:

• Reports to the Technical Manager - Software
• Perform day-to-day support of our Large-Scale ERP system
• Conduct Meetings with internal Customers, IT Teams and External Companies
• Manage Large-Scale Projects to include collaboration with External Partners (Consultants) for adherence to defined project requirements and timeframes
• Develop Software to accomplish business solutions is required
• Collaborate with Software Team to deliver business aligned solutions
• Plan, prioritize and execute activity associated with assignments receivedFollow functional specifications from Business Analysts to develop SW Solutions
• Develop Reports using Large-Scale Reporting Systems
• Recommend Enhancements/Improvements to Maintain “State of Art” ERP
• Ensure alignment of ERP system with business requirements and needs
• Create and Deliver Documentation along with training to our internal customers
• Provide courteous, complete and timely support for end users
• Work well within a team environment and alongside external partners

Environment:

• Office Hours Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. plus additional hours as needed
